The Pilates Tutor back care program is designed to help individuals restore proper stability to the lower back and mobility to the upper back. We begin by reviewing your medical history and carefully evaluating your current ability to stabilize and mobilize different areas of the spine as appropriate.
Exercises are designed to re-balance, strengthen and improve functionality.
Our back care Pilates instructors have completed the STOTT PILATES course on Injuries and Special Populations and are knowledgeable about which exercises will best suit your needs.
Participants can expect to visit us 2 – 3 times a week initially and follow a home-practice program. It typically takes 10 – 12 weeks to complete program goals.
